“ The place was cozy and pleasant. No loud music. Good place where you can have good conservation and good meals. We had a simple meal. A seafood chowder, Lamb Rack and a Grill Ribeye. The seafood chowder had fish and squid with croutons. Nice and thick consistency. Flavourful. The Grilled Lamb Rack was just nice. Not over done, juicy. Served with button mushroom, veg du jour, potato wedges, carrot and white corn. The Grilled Ribeye was medium done. A bit thinner than expected and missing the internal fat. But nicely season. Only that the sauce was a tat salty. The service was good and attentive, courteous. Staff were willing to assist and polite. ”
“ I love that the food here is a bit different than the usual western restaurant, although the pricing is a bit more expensive than the usual place. The best part is that they offered a lot of vegetarian options and it really taste good. The salad is so refreshing and the portion is quite big. Overall, satisfied. ”
“ Had a great time with my mother and sister after some time. The ambience is amazing. We ordered pasta, grilled chicken and fried squid as for the starter and main course. The grilled chicken was juicy and tasty but a bit salty. The squid was so good. Overall , we had a good time eating out at this restaurant. Will definitely come again. ”
“ August 2023 Now it got it's quality back to the table again. Delicious and well quality control. 16 June 2019 Food quality has dropped slightly. Drinks had became somewhat below par. Chocolate blended was awful and the Pineapple + Dragon Fruit(very sour), why use the sour type pineapple? Ya...cut cost and maximize profit in the expense of the customers. 2 years ago One of the best bet of Western Food in Melaka. Affordable, with the same pricing as other competitors, it offers better taste. Quite fast serving too. ”
“ We recently visited this Western restaurant in Malacca and had a delightful experience. Starting with four live oysters, I was pleasantly surprised by their size and quality. They were incredibly fresh, with a distinct oceanic taste that made them worth every penny. I then ordered a ribeye steak, which had impeccable flavor. However, the doneness wasn’t as requested—I asked for medium rare but received medium well. Despite this, it was still an enjoyable dish. Their nasi goreng stood out with a delightful "wok hay" flavor, making it absolutely delicious. My daughter opted for the chicken lasagna, which was cheesy, creamy, and thoroughly satisfying. We also tried the mozzarella chicken grill, another standout dish. Overall, every dish impressed, and I’ll definitely revisit whenever I’m in Malacca again. ”
“ Food - The Good and the batter was "thin". A plus point. Portion amplified with the onion rings and shoestrings. Food - Suggestions, for the chicken dish, perhaps a little more sauce and veg would be great ( yes, we did ask for extra sauce and the restaurant provided it ). Service - 5 star! Perfect. Atmosphere - good, nice, lighting is ted on the dim side but it's ok. Toilet is clean, Will I drop by again, YES! ”
“ Kensington Western Restaurant offers a variety of Western dishes in a charming and cozy atmosphere. The service is reasonably fast, likely due to the restaurant not being very crowded. While the food is decent and aligns with the average standard, the pricing is on the higher side, which might be expected given its central location in the town area. Ordered fish and chips and chicken lasagne and grilled fish. Taste not bad. And will come again to try other menu. ”
“ Love this place! Great food, clean and cozy vibe. The grilled mushroom is a must-try Highly recommended! ”
